What to expect

Coffee & Cloud Forest is designed for travelers who want to understand why Costa Rican coffee is world-famous. Start your day at a premium plantation where you'll walk through the fields and learn about sustainable harvesting with your guide. From the coffee plantation, drive to Poás Volcano National Park through ancient ferns, moss-covered trees and unique high-altitude wildlife, and enjoy one of the biggest craters in the world.

Five waterfalls are waiting for you on this last walk in the cloud forest, with visits to exhibitions: reptiles, cats, birds, insects, amphibians, snakes, monkeys, an oxcart at La Casita (little Costa Rican house) where you can try Costa Rican coffee, and a stop at the biological station at La Paz Waterfall Gardens for butterflies.
